The Yangtze River is the third longest river in the world, behind only the Nile and Amazon. We are pleased to offer the opportunity to experience one of the most picturesque sections of the river, the 190-kilometre stretch between Chongqing and Yichang.

You will enjoy four nights on board a luxury cruise ship as you travel downstream passing through the magnificent Three Gorges, considered one of the greatest scenic attractions of China.

This tour however starts in China's second city, with two nights in Shanghai. There you have the opportunity to enjoy a city heavily influenced by the west, but steeped in eastern culture. We have chosen the famous Astor Hotel for your stay.

From Shanghai you will travel to Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province. You will visit the world famous Giant Panda Research Base, where you have the opportunity to see one of the worlds most recognisable animals at close quarters.

After your Yangtze Cruise is completed we travel to Xi'an where you will see the Terra-Cotta Warriors, often referred to as the Eighth Wonder of the world.

Your tour finishes in Beijing, where you spend four nights. Whilst in China's capital you will be taken to the Great Wall, Tian'anmen Square and the Summer Palace as well as other sites of interest.
