This photographic tour combines visits to two of Nepal's national parks, with excursions to many of Kathmandu's historical sites and two days in the beautiful scenic city of Pokhara.
In Kathmandu there are excursions to many sites that appear on UNESCO's World Heritage List, including Swayambhunath, Bouddhanath and Budhanilkantha.
Shivapuri National Park is on the outskirts of Kathmandu and is the ideal location for photographing many of the local bird and wildlife, such as the Himalayan black bear, crested serpent eagle, barking deer and laughing thrush.
During two full days at Royal Chitwan National Park, you have the opportunity of enjoying a morning elephant safari, to photograph many of the parks 43 species of mammals, such as the single-horned Asiatic rhino, gharial crocodile and Bengal tiger.
Whilst in Pokhara, Nepal's most photogenic valley, you will be taken on photographic tours of the surrounding area, visiting spectacular mountain ranges, canyons, villages, temples and lakes.
