This tour offers a unique blend of both the ancient and modern, as well the opportunity to take in breathtaking scenery and world famous historical sites.
Shanghai is the starting point for this tour, where you will spend two nights. On your first full day you will enjoy many of the attractions this thriving metropolis can offer.
From Shanghai you travel to Guilin, where over three days you will enjoy some of the most spectacular scenery anywhere in China. This sample itinerary includes the beautiful Li Jiang River Cruise.
You will spend the next few days travelling through Yunnan Province, with overnight stopovers in Kunming, Dali and Lijaing. Yunnan Province boasts the most diverse range of scenery, of all the Chinese provinces, ranging from tropical rainforest to snow-capped mountains.
Xi'an and then Beijing are the final two cities you will visit. Both the ancient and modern capital cities have numerous world famous attractions. Sanya China Travel includes a full day tour, on four of your last five full days. Included are excursions to the Great Wall, 13 Ming Tombs and Temple of Heaven, as well as evenings of culture at the Tang Dynasty Show and Beijing Opera.
