This unique excursion will allow you to appreciate the culture of the Island and it's people. These two areas are also in the middle of the island's tropical countryside region.
Nanshan (Buddhism) Cultural Zone
Your English-speaking guide will drive you 40km from Sanya. Nanshan is a very special place that is blessed not only by its ideal location, but also enjoys an honoured position in the myths and folklore of Chinese culture. The 108 meter high statue of 'South-Sea Guanyin' Buddha looks out at both the South China Sea and over Hainan Island.
Hainan's Minor & Major Caves
Located about 40 miles away from Sanya, Dongtian tourism park is also named 'the wonder of the sea and mountain'. The caves are impressive but really it is a perfect excursion that will introduce you the countryside of the tropical island.
