In conjunction with the Aviation Club of Nepal we can now offer you the excitement and curiosity of flying in a micro light aircraft (normally with your personal pilot, if needed!) enjoying spectacular views of the Himalayas.
The Ultra light Aircraft are designed to safely carry passengers while providing openings from both sides to allow viewing freedom. The end result is that you feel as if you are flying like a bird. Enjoy the fresh air on your face, scenes of the almighty Annapurna range of mountains will be literally in front of you.
All our aircraft can fly close to each other so that you can enjoy your flight with your family and friends and take pictures of each other. You can even play hide-and-seek in the air or go for a roller coaster ride if you wish!
We have created our tour below, our Freedom in the Air Tour alternatively incorporate a flight (three options detailed below) within any of the other tours or suggested activities mentioned on this Nepal section of the web site.
Company Profile
Aviation club of Nepal was formed on May 26, 1996, as a joint venture with Russian-American Citizens in Nepal. Licence for commercial flight and training of pilots and technicians were issued at the same time. It started its first commercial flight on 14th of January 1997. It has received its Nepali Pilot License for it's Pilots & technicians and all aircraft are registered as per the rules and regulations of Civil Aviation of Nepal.
The People
The Pilots are highly trained and have flown more than 600 hours on this type of aircraft. Sanya China will ensure your are treated with great care, from the time of your booking till you complete your flight our guides and the staff of the Aviation club will guide you in every way to make your flight as enjoyable & comfortable as possible. They will describe the flight path before you go so you can prepare for pictures and points of interest ahead of time. All our aircraft can fly close to each other so that you can enjoy your flight with your family and friends and take pictures of each other. You can even play hide-and-seek in the air or go for a roller coaster ride if you wish! All our clients will receive personalized service.

Flight Duration 15 Minutes
Covered Area:
Pokhara City, Phewa Lake, Ssrangkot hill, with speed of 50kmph to 90kmph and climb to 5000ft. of altitude. -
Glory of Mt. Fishtail
Flight Duration 15 Minutes
Covered Area:
To the foothills of Mt, Fishtail covering Pokhara valley with the speed of 90km/h and reach 9000ft. of altitude. -
Mountain Sky Trek
Flight Duration 1 hour
Covered Area:
To the Annapurna Range at 12000ft of altitude with a speed of 90-130km/h.
NB We can arrange the flying from the middle of September until the middle of June-from sunrise till 11.00am and from 3.00pm till sunset. Please don't hesitate to ask for further information.

Itinerary includes:
- Accommodation in specified hotels or of a similar standard on twin share basis with daily breakfast.
- Full sightseeing program, further details on request with English speaking guide and all entrance fees.
- Private transfers throughout.
- Microlite flight Tickets.
- 2 Microlite flights (one 30 minutes and one 60 minutes) in Pokhara.
Itinerary excludes:
- Air condition cars (we cannot guarantee this on this tour).
- Evening Meals, although your guide will recommend the best places for you to go.
