This particular tour starts in China's capital city, Beijing, where you will spend the duration of four nights. During your time in this exhilarating city, you will get to see many major attractions including the Great Wall, Summer Palace and the Forbidden City, as well as the opportunity to sample the world famous Peking Duck Dinner.
From Beijing you will travel to Xi'an, an ancient city steeped in history. The city has an exotic feel with Islamic influences clearly visible within the Muslim Quarter. Its premier attraction however is the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses, a visit to which is included as part of a full day tour.
The capital of Sichuan Province is the next port of call. Three nights will be spent in Chengdu, where included in your itinerary are a visit to Leshan, famous for its Giant Buddha and an evening at the Sichuan Opera.
Lhasa is the final destination in this, one of our premier tours. Four nights in the capital of the Tibetan Autonomous Region, will go some way as to giving an insight into the lives and customs of the Tibetan people. Whilst in this holiest of cities, you will be given the opportunity of visiting a Tibetan family as well as taking in breathtaking sights, such as the Potala Palace and Norbulingka.
