| 2 | Arrival in Ulaanbaatar, our guide and driver will meet us at the airport and aid with the check-in at the central hotel. After checking in, we take a tour of the city, including the Gandan Monastery, Museum of Mongolian National History and Genghis Monument on the Sukhbaatar Square. 3* Hotel. | D |
| 3 | This morning we drive to the west toward Karakorum, breaking our journey in picturesque Elsen Tasarkhai, which shares a common border with Tov, Ovorhangai and Bulgan provinces. Visit the Ovgon monastery ruins and the Khogno Khan national park. Hoyor Zagal camp. | B/L/D |
| 4 | This morning you make an early drive to the lost capital of Genghis Khan at Karakorum. We then visit the magnificent Erdene Zuu Monastery, where we will see a distinct mixing of the styles of Mongolian and Tibetan Buddhism. | 7 | Today we drive through the beautiful Gobi desertscapes, stopping on your way to see the custom of the nomadic peoples, try some camel riding if you wish. | 8 | After breakfast we take a southern passage through the Gobi, driving along the dunes for more than a hundred kilometers, before branching into the Gov-Altai Mountains and the Dungenee Pass, which leads to the glacial gorge of Yolyn Am - here we journey on foot or horseback into the gorge itself.
