A round island tour of Taiwan taking in cities, quiet towns and some of nature’s finest scenery.

Arrive in Taipei and take in the sights of this impressive city. Travel to Hualien on the beautiful Northeast Coast and drive along the breathtaking Su-Hua Highway. Taroko National Park is the second largest in Taiwan, renowned for its spectacular mountains and marble canyons this is a master piece of Mother Nature, dotted with waterfalls and natural springs.

Sun Moon Lake has a stunning natural beauty, named from Kuang-hua Island in the south of the lake which is shaped like a moon and the northern part of the lake which is shaped like a sun.

You will stop in Puli to visit the temple before staying overnight in Taichung. Take in the historical sights of Lukang before finally returning to Taipei.

Day 1

Fly to Taipei.

Day 2

Arrive in Taipei and settle in.

Day 3

Visit Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall, Presidential Square, Martyrs' Shrine, Lung Shan Temple and National Palace Museum. Then proceed to Hualien, see the beautiful Northeast Coast and breathtaking Su-Hua Highway.

Day 4

Visit Taroko National Park today. Stops will be made at Eternal Spring Shrine, Swallow Grotto Tunnel of Nine Turns and Tienhsiang. Visit a marble factory and proceed to Taitung via East Rift Valley. Enjoy the hot spring swimming pool and spa in the hotel upon arrival.

Day 5

Drive to Kaohsiung to visit Fo Kuang Shan - the most famous Buddhist Sacred Mountain in Taiwan.

Day 6

Onwards to Sun Moon Lake and then Chung Tai Temple in Puli. Drive to Taichung.

Day 7

Visit Lukang, the historical and cultural town. Proceed to Taipei in the afternoon.

Day 8

Return flight.
