This tour can be adapted from three to thirteen nights.
A strenuous trek to Everest Base Camp and an exploration of remote Tibet.
Mt Everest is the highest peak in the world at 8850 metres – it has long fascinated nature lovers and drawn explorers from all over the world. Before considering this trip you must ensure that you are physically fit and well equipped for the challenge ahead. A four day strenuous trek takes you through Tibet to the world famous Everest Base Camp. The route is demanding but the rewards are great with spectacular scenery all the way. You will walk along a high ridge shoulder with good views of Mt Everest before finally arriving at the village of Zommug. You will camp out each night.
After the trek make your way towards Lhasa and stop in the towns of Shigatse and Gyantse exploring monasteries and fully immersing yourself in the Buddhist culture.

Day 1
Fly to Lhasa via chosen gateway city.
Day 2
Arrive Lhasa. Free time to acclimatise.
Day 3
Explore the city including Potala Palace and Jorkang Temple.
Day 4
Explore the city including Sera Monastery and Tebang Monastery.
Day 5
Drive to Shigatse, visit Tashilunpo Monastery.
Day 6
Drive to Tingri (4390m) and prepare for trekking.
Day 7 – 10
Four day Trek to Rongbuk Monastery via Lungjung, Lamna La Pass and Zomphu Village. Camping overnight.
Day 11
Visit Everest Base Camp, drive back to Tingri.
Day 12
Drive back to Shigatse.
Day 13
Drive to Gyantse, visit the Kumbu Monastery.
Day 14
Drive to Lhasa via Yamdok Lake.
Day 15
Return flight via chosen gateway city.
