A trek along the magnificent Great Wall exploring several less visited sections plus the sights of Beijing.

The name of this valley - Jiuzhaigou comes from the term “nine villages” after the nine Tibetan villages which are scattered throughout the valley.

The attraction of this special place lies in its simple, idyllic beauty. It is a fairyland, primitive and natural. You will see mountains with snow peaks, lakes and waterfalls. These are the habitats of rare animals such as elegant swans, golden monkeys and red pandas. You have a full day here to enjoy nature’s splendorous sights.

Then drive to Huang Long Temple at the foot of Snow Treasure Peak, the major peak of Mt. Minshan. Here you will see beautiful coloured terrace-ponds where 2300 ponds come into groups each with a name and different character, such as the Guest Greeting Ponds or the Fragrant Ponds. Due to varied depth and mineral pigments the waters each reflect a variety of colours.

Day 1

Fly to Jiuzhaigou Huanglong Airport. Drive 1.5 hours to Jiuzhaigou Valley.

Day 2

Full day exploring the beautiful valley.

Day 3

Drive to Huang Long Temple. Fly back to Chengdu where you will spend your final night in Sichuan.

Day 4

Onward travel.
