See the wonderful cities of Beijing and Xi’an plus the giant pandas in Chengdu and finally Lhasa in the mystical region of Tibet.
Starting in Beijing you will see the many major attractions here including the Great Wall, Summer Palace and the Forbidden City and enjoy a world famous Peking Duck Dinner.
Onwards to Xi’an, an ancient city steeped in history which has an exotic feel. Its Islamic influences are clearly visible within the Muslim Quarter. Although the premier attraction here is the Terracotta Warriors and Horses. Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province is next and here you will see the Giant Panda’s at the Research Base. Visit Leshan, famous for its Giant Buddha. An evening at the Sichuan Opera rounds off your stay here.
Lhasa is your final destination - Capital of the Tibetan Autonomous Region. In this holiest of cities you will gain an insight into the lives and customs of the Tibetan people. Visit a Tibetan family and take in the breathtaking sights of Potala Palace and Norbulingka.

Day 1
Fly to Beijing.
Day 2
Arrive Beijing. Rest of the day at your leisure.
Day 3
Full day tour including Tian’anmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven. Evening performance of the Peking Opera.
Day 4
Full day tour including the Great Wall at the quieter Mutianyu Section, Ming Tombs and the Sacred Road. Peking Duck dinner in the evening.
Day 5
Morning visit to the Lama Temple and the Summer Palace. Afternoon at leisure.
Day 6
Fly to Xi'an. Afternoon tour to the Ancient City Wall, Muslim Quarter and Grand Mosque.
Day 7
Full day tour including the Terracotta Warriors and the Shaanxi Museum. Tang Dynasty Show in the evening with a dumpling banquet.
Day 8
Fly to Chengdu. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 9
Full day tour including the Panda Research Base and Leshan. Sichuan Opera performance in the evening with tea.
Day 10
Morning visit to Dufu’s Cottage. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 11
Fly to Lhasa. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 12
Full day tour including the Potala Palace, Jokhang Monastery and Barkhor Street.
Day 13
Full day tour including the Trupeng Monastery and Norbulingka.
Day 14
Visit a Tibetan family in the morning. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 15
Fly to Beijing. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 16
Return flight.
