A wonderful itinerary taking in some of Nepal’s best scenery and sights.

After two nights in the Nepalese capital travel to the beautiful lakeside city of Pokhara. The scenery surrounding this town is breathtaking with several lakes and the stunning backdrop of the Himalayas. A boat trip on Phewa Lake allows you to fully soak up this splendorous location. Continue to Royal Chitwan National Park for an exciting mix of activities. The thrill of an elephant back safari is hard to beat as you spot rhino, deer, monkeys and birds. A canoe safari is a restful way to watch wildlife, particularly water birds and perhaps even crocodiles. There are also many lovely walks to choose from.

Travel on to Nagarkot passing through small villages and paddy fields. At 2175m this is one of the highest points in the Kathmandu valley, which affords you some exquisite Himalayan views. Don’t miss the spectacular colour changes at sunset a photographer’s delight!

Day 1

Fly to Kathmandu..

Day 2

Arrive Kathmandu. Relax and settle in.

Day 3

Kathmandu – Full day tour including Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath and Kathmandu Durbar Square.

Day 4

Drive to Pokhara.

Day 5

Half day city tour and boat trip on Phewa Lake. Rest of day at leisure.

Day 6

Drive to Chitwan National Park.

Day 7

Full day of jungle activities including elephant safari, canoeing, nature walk and village walk.

Day 8

Drive to Nagarkot, arrive in time to enjoy the evening sunset.

Day 9

Drive to Kathmandu. Early start to catch the sunrise. Half day tour including Patan Durbar Square and Swayambhunath.

Day 10

Kathmandu, whole day at leisure to explore the city.

Day 11

Return flight.
