Guangzhou
Guangzhou is the capital of Guangdong Province and is the largest import and export port in southern China. It has a humid climate all year around, with both a mild summer and winter and plenty of rainfall. Consequently flowers blossom in all four seasons, earning Guangzhou the nickname 'City of flowers'. There are over 150 historical sites and places of interest in the city.
Yuexiu Park is Guangzhou's largest park, covering over 9 square kilometres. It surrounds Yuexiu Hill, from where you can capture a view of the whole city.
Twice a year festivals are held in the parks 30,000 seater stadium, in spring the Spring Welcoming Flower Fair and in autumn the Chrysanthemum Exhibition.

The Ancestral Temple of the Chen Family also known as Guangdong Museum of Folk and Arts, comprises of 19 buildings, built using different architectural techniques and materials, native to the Guangdong region.
The Changlong Night Zoo is China's first and the worlds largest zoo for night animals.
Dr Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall was built in the 1930's to commemorate the pioneer of the Chinese democratic revolution.
Six-Banyan Temple was first constructed during the late Southern Dynasties (386 - 581). The Sarira Pagoda is its centrepiece, standing 57 metres tall. It houses a collection ancient bronze statues and steles recording the temple's history.
