Rajasthan is often, and we think rightly, described as the most vibrant and colourful region of India. This tour offers you a chance to discover its glory for yourself. You start in Delhi visiting old and new cities which will doubtless take your breath away and assault all your senses.
From Delhi, journey deep into the countryside and experience village life in Alsisar. Onwards into the desert region don’t miss the chance to ride a camel through the dunes, it’s an experience you won’t forget! Then overnight in a desert camp for a night of star spotting. Your journey continues in a feast of villages, temples, forts, havelies (mansions) and castles which will leave you mesmerised.
The sights of the pink city of Jaipur and medieval Agra make an unbeatable finale; with the Taj Mahal being the ultimate display of opulence.

Day 1
Fly to Delhi, arrive late evening.
Day 2
City tour of Delhi visiting Red Fort, Rajghat, India Gate, Parliament House, Qutub Minar & Humanyun's Tomb.
Day 3
Drive to Alsisar. Visit fascinating havelies.
Day 4
Morning depart for Bikaner. Visit Junagarh Fort and Camel Breeding Farm.
Day 5
Transfer to Jaisalmer visiting Karni Mata temple at Deshnok on the way. En-route take lunch at historic Fort Pokharan.
Day 6
Tour of Golden Fort, the Jain temples, Patwa-ki-haveli, Nathmal-ki-haveli and Salim Singh-ki-haveli. Later visit Sam Sand Dunes. Short camel ride on the dunes. Stay in desert camp tonight.
Day 7
Depart for Jalamandgarh en route visiting Mehrangarh Fort at Jodhpur. Also visit nearby Royal Memorial.
Day 8
Visit Bishnoi-ki-dhani (Bishnoi are a local clan who are very famous for their conservation work). Later proceed to Ghanerao and stay at Royal Castle.
Day 9
See Ghanerao village and castle. Later drive to Udaipur visiting Ranakpur to see 15th century temple. Also visit fort and surroundings at Kumbhalgarh.
Day 10
Tour of City Palace, Sahelion-ki-bari and Folk Art Museum. In the evening take a boat ride over Lake Pichhola.
Day 11
Drive to Chittaurgarh and visit indomitable pride of Chittaurgarh, its Fort, Kirti Stambha, Vijay Stambha and Padmini's Palace.
Day 12
Drive to Kota. Later visit the City Palace & in house Museum, Jagmandir Palace, Chambal Garden and Chhattar Bilas Garden.
Day 13
Drive to Pushkar stopping at Bundi to visit Taragarh Fort, Bundi Palace, Ratan Daulat and various Baoris.
Day 14
Visit world famous Brahma Temple and holy Pushkar Lake. Later depart Pushkar for Samode.
Day 15
Tour of Jaipur with visit to Amber Fort, City Palace and Jantar Mantar.
Day 16
Depart for Agra stopping en route to visit the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri. Later visit Agra Fort and the Taj Mahal.
Day 17
Full day free. Farewell dinner. Return flight home.
NB: Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays
