A classic Golden Triangle tour of Delhi, Agra and Jaipur plus a chance to see a tiger on safari.
Delhi is a fascinating capital city, where the past co-exists with the present. Many dynasties ruled from here and it is rich in architectural monuments. Take an exciting rickshaw ride through the bazaars.
Continue to Agra, home to one of the Seven Wonders of the World - the Taj Mahal. The architectural splendour of the mausoleums, the fort and the palaces in Agra are a vivid reminder of the opulence of the legendary Mughal Empire. Agra is known for its superb carpets, gold thread embroidery and leather shoes.
In Ranthambhore National Park you go on safari - look out for gazelles, sambar, cheetal, chinkara, nilgai, langoor, wild bull, the elusive leopard and of course the tiger. Jaipur city, colour washed pink, is a fairy tale of palaces, rugged fortresses perched on barren hills and broad picturesque avenues all encircled by a formidable wall.

Day 1
Fly to Delhi, arrive late evening.
Day 2
Full day guided city tour. In Old Delhi visit the historic Red Fort and Jama Masjid India’s largest mosque. Take a rickshaw ride through the famous bazaars of Chandni Chowk and visit Raj Ghat - the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. Then tour New Delhi visiting the Qutab Minar, the tomb of Humayun, India Gate and Rashtrapathi Bhawan the residence of the President of India, which is flanked by the houses of Parliament and the Government Secretariat buildings.
Day 3
Drive to Agra (4 hrs). Afternoon visit to Taj Mahal & Agra Fort.
Day 4
Drive to Ranthambhore (6 hrs) en route guided visit to the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri.
Day 5
Early morning and late afternoon safaris (in shared open canter) in the Park.
Day 6
Early morning safari in the Park. Drive to Jaipur (4 hrs).
Day 7
Guided excursion to the Amber Fort with a elephant ride and a city tour of the major sights.
Day 8
VDrive back to Delhi (5hrs). Return flight
NB: Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays
