Wudangshan Hotel consists of four floors, and houses 218 bright and airy rooms, each equipped with all the necessities you'll need to relax, so you can stop worrying if you've forgotten something, and revel in the breathtaking views of Wudang Mountain.
The hotel's executive floor, especially for those on business, and non smoking floors, make sure all tastes and choices are accommodated. The ancient buildings are magnificent in size and incomparable in artistic design, are said to have been built on steep hills and atop sharp cliffs to achieve harmony and unity between man-made architecture and natural beauty.
The mountain comprises of five peaks, and atop each sits an ancient temple. If you want to unveil Wudang Taoism and Taiji health-care culture, we recommend you visit the ancient Zhenwu Temple - a place where Taoists worship ancient leaders Zhenwu and Zhang Safang.
If the mountain's history doesn't enchant you, it's views will. Major scenic spots include 72 peaks, 36 rocky cliffs, and 24 streams. Tianzhu Peak, its highest point, creates a striking view of "One Pole Supporting the Sky". Clustered around it are numerous smaller ones, composing a fantastic picture of 72 peaks paying homage to the main one.
Standing on the top and looking far into the distance, with auspicious clouds surrounding you, you will feel as if you were in a fairyland, where - as it's name "The Immortal Mountain" suggests - "deities sit in temples and temples float in clouds". Try a cable car ride to take in the full visual experience of the mountain, which is also well known for its deep-rooted tradition of wushu (a Chinese martial art).
Other attractions in and around the Wudangshan Hotel include The Carefree Valley - an extremely scenic area with enough hiking to keep you busy for a full day, or do some city exploring - sample the street food, or haggle for a perfect souvenir or gift.
