We recommend you visit Elephant Trunk Hill, on the western bank of Li River. It was named after it's fascinating shape, resembling a huge elephant drinking water from the river with it's trunk. You’ll find another hidden gem between the ’trunk’ and the ’legs’ of the elephant - Shui Yue Cave. Why not take a boat through the caves, where you’ll discover the many intriguing ancient inscriptions that cover the walls.
The Li River itself is considered the centrepiece of any trip to the Guangxi Province – gorgeous mountain peaks framing blue waters, where you’ll see water buffalo drink and fisherman float on bamboo rafts. Many places of interest line the banks of the river, like Daxu Ancient Town and Millstone Hill.
