Rooms
Each of the Camellia Hotels’ 170 rooms are tastefully decorated with a modern edge, and each come with all the amenities you’d expect in order to feel at home.
You will find air conditioning, a minibar, and complementary bathing amenities as well as WiFi internet access and Satellite TV to keep you in touch with home.
Facilities
The Camellia hotel doesn’t compromise on comfort or expedience for those on business, either. All the hotel’s business guests have access to a well-kitted out conference center, and constant internet access as well as international direct dial telephones – so it’s never difficult to catch up with the office at home.
For all your daily necessities, there’s no need to leave the hotel – just nip down to your own personal shop, where you’ll also find gifts, chinese teas and – if you need extra help - a personal shopping service.
Alongside the main building, a bright and vibrant youth hostel is also annexed to the hotel, proving it’s worth as a great choice for the serious traveller, and a perfect location for sightseeing.

Camellia Hotel sits in the heart of Dong Feng Road, a culturally and historically prominent area in the surrounding province of scenic Yunnan.
Being home to over 25 different ethnic minority groups, Yunnan (named Beautiful Clouds in the South in English) is a haven for those really wanting to dig deep into Chinese culture – experience the local food, and countless different festivals celebrated by the variety of cultures thriving within the hotel's surrounding city.
Kunming, the capital city, is also home to many interesting ancient temples. We recommend a visit to Bamboo Temple, where you'll discover the 500 lifesize luohans dating back to the 1800's, and the Western Hills, containing three temples – Taihua, Sanqing, and Huating, a temple built in the 11th century.
Ancient architecture is not the only wonder close by your hotel. Picturesque parks are another popular feature of Kunming. Visit Daguan Park and Black Dragon Pool for a taste of the beauty you'll find in nature when you visit the Yunnan province.
If it's natural wonders that enthrawl you most, you won't want to miss the Stone Forest. Just outside of the capital city, this is one of the world's natural wonders, featuring massive pillars of time-sculpted rock, forming a gigantic forest of stone. Some of these formations of stone bear an interesting resemblance to animals, such as snakes, birds and dragons.
