All of our featured tours to China include British Airways World Traveller flights departing from London Heathrow as they are Ideal for leisure travel, British Airways offers an extensive schedule to a wide range of worldwide destinations, flying to centrally located airports. British Airways offer a choice of check-in options including Online Check-in from the comfort of your own home, Self-Service Check-in Kiosks or dedicated check-in desks at the airport.

World Traveller – Designed for comfort (Economy)
- An ergonomically designed seat with footrest and adjustable headrest to support your head and neck.

World Traveller Plus – Worth the difference (Economy Plus)
- A separate quieter cabin with up to a maximum of 5 rows.

Audio Visual on Demand (AVOD)
Currently being rolled out across the long haul routes* AVOD gives you over 200 film, television, music and games (games not available on World Traveller) options all available on-demand so that you can watch what you want, when you want.
* Not available on aircraft fitted with a 12 channel in-flight entertainment system.

Economy Class:

Business Class:
Offering a totally new and advanced seat with 170° recline and 60" seat pitch. With access to quality lounges worldwide as well as a complimentary limousine service within 55 road miles of Heathrow Airport all help to take the hassle out of international travel.
First Class:
Our new seat offers a truly flat bed with 72" pitch, gourmet dining and lounge access worldwide as well as a complimentary limousine service within 55 road miles of Heathrow to make your trip an enjoyable experience.
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines enjoy an excellent reputation as one of Europe's leading carriers.
From the UK passengers can enjoy the benefits of through check-in meaning that boarding cards are given at the departure airport and baggage is checked through to your final destination.
Connections to China are via a single terminal at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport. KLM operates a daily service to Beijing 10 weekly flights to Shanghai and 3 weekly flights to Chengdu.
Economy Class:
Offers a 31" seat pitch, in flight entertainment, choice of meals, complimentary drinks and 20kg checked in baggage allowance. On Boeing 777 and Airbus A330 operated flights passengers can enjoy personal video screen in every seat and KLM’s interactive entertainment system, which offers over 100 different movie choices.
World Business Class:
Offer passengers not one but two advantages: more legroom and a 150° recline - a comfortable sleeping position. On the ground they offer executive lounges at 13 of our 14 regional airports in the UK as well as all our KLM destinations.
China Eastern - A World class airline
CEA is one of the worlds fastest growing Airlines. With its base in Shanghai it operates a modern fleet of over 200 jet aircraft, to a network of over 80 international cities and over 400 domestic routes. Direct services London to Shanghai were started in April 2004. Featuring the latest Airbus A340 aircraft with First, Business and Economy class cabins the summer schedule operates five services a week from London Heathrow.
First Class:
Offers twelve 28" luxury seats, with 62 inches of pitch and a recline of 165°. First Class seats have their own satellite phone and an individual interactive entertainment system. Computer games are available, and calls can be made to anywhere in the world. First Class passengers also are treated to cocktails, fine wines and a choice of Chinese or Western cuisine, amenity kits, and have full use of the Air France lounge at Heathrow and our own First Class lounge in Shanghai.
Business Class:
The 28 Business Class seats recline up to 135°, have a pitch of 38-42", and are nearly 23" wide. Passengers will feel able to work, sleep and relax during their journey to and from China. Personal interactive entertainment systems are featured. Of course, fine wines and choice food are also offered. Amenity kits are provided and the Air France airport lounge in Heathrow and the China Eastern Business class lounge in Shanghai are available prior to flight departure.
Economy Class:
Economy Class on the 340 also offers newly designed seats with 32-34" of pitch, and audio in flight entertainment. Televisions are regularly spaced throughout the cabin and generally show two western films, one Chinese film, one French film and a news broadcast. There is a full selection of drinks and a western and oriental food option. Please call the hostess for drinks and snacks at any time throughout the flight and they will be happy to help you.
