Li-An Lodge is an entirely wood structure implementing the Chinese traditional building technique of tongue and grove without a single nail. It took local people 8 years to design and build this Guesthouse, where now Chinese tradition meets modern luxury.
All year round the terraces present different beauty in different seasons. Several trails from the lodge lead to other scenic spots and local villages. Please ask your Sanya china guide and we will steer you in the right direction.
Each room is spectacular, having its own theme and filled with exquisite pieces like a fine museum, creating a deeper sense of ancient and rural China. They are well insulated, equipped with air conditioning; hot water shower and international direct dialling. The bar offers a selection of local and imported drink, and a spacious living room offers plenty of room for guests to socialize and enjoy a wonderful slide show of the beauty of China.
How big is it? The Lodge is small and intimate – extremely comfortable and first class. There are 16 rooms each with a private western toilet and drinking water.
Location? The lodge is situated in a prime location in the Long Sheng County. It’s about 50miles northwest of Guilin and about two and a half hours drive from the Guilin airport.
Important, Please Note: It's reached by a half-hour light hike up the mountain (several hundred metres) but you can be assisted by porters and sedan chairs available but ask us in advance, info@sanyachinatravel.com
The hike up is most defiantly worth it! Your English-speaking Sanya Travel Guide will arrange this for you. Normally negotiated is 30 Yuan (£3.00) per case each way, which is well worth it.
Tip: If you are staying just one or two nights, it is possible to leave your luggage back at Guilin and just take a small bag(s) for your stay if you're returning to Guilin. The team will mention this to you as a small option on your holiday.
